How is permanent makeup done? This trendy procedure involves the application of coloring pigments under the skin using a specialized tattoo machine with a micro-needle. The service is performed in a highly sterile environment, using only disposable materials. The pigments used are hypoallergenic and comply with EU *REACH regulations. After a couple of years, the pigments are naturally eliminated from the body, allowing your appearance to return to its natural state. *The REACH regulation aims to protect human health and the environment within the European Union (EU) from the risks associated with chemical products.

What is the procedure like? When visiting the studio for the first time, clients begin with a consultation where the artist provides guidance on all relevant questions, addresses any contraindications, and discusses the client's preferences. After reviewing the details, the artist creates a sketch and confirms it with the client. Once approved, the first pass with the needle is made, followed by the application of a calming cream. After 10-15 minutes, the artist begins the procedure. Once the permanent makeup is completed, the treated area is carefully coated with a disinfectant and healing ointment.

How long does permanent makeup last?Predicting the longevity of permanent makeup results is not an exact science, as it depends on factors such as your health, age, and how well you care for your skin. On average, permanent makeup can last up to 2 years. To maintain its fresh appearance, occasional touch-ups are recommended.
-
How can you remove permanent makeup? If the pigment shade changes over time or the tattoo effect no longer suits its owner, modern technologies offer effective ways to remove the coloring substances from the skin. The most popular method is saline tattoo removal, which breaks down the pigment structure and helps eliminate it from the body quickly. This technique allows for the safe removal of permanent makeup without leaving scars, typically in just a few sessions. An alternative option is laser removal.

How long does it take for permanent makeup to heal?In the first few hours after the procedure, slight swelling may occur, and a scab will form on the treated area. The peeling process typically lasts 2-4 days. During the first week, the color may appear to change daily, sometimes getting darker before gradually fading. Over the next 5-10 days, the skin continues to heal, and the pigment softens. By the 30th day following your visit, the skin will have nearly fully recovered, and the final result of the procedure will become visible. After 6 to 8 weeks, it's time for a touch-up to perfect the shape and color.

What to avoid after the PMU procedure? After the procedure, it’s important to avoid the following: Using cosmetics or aggressive skincare products on the treated area. Plucking or waxing hairs in the treated zone. Wetting the irritated skin. Engaging in sports or activities that may cause sweating. Bathing in natural bodies of water or pools. Sunbathing on the beach or in tanning salons. Exposing your face to strong winds. Picking at or scratching the forming scabs. By following these guidelines, you ensure the best healing process and long-lasting results.

Permanent makeup vs Semi-permanent makeup: what's the difference? There is no difference between permanent makeup (PMU) and semi-permanent makeup (SPMU) they are interchangeable terms used to describe the same treatment. Both refer to a broad range of beauty procedures performed with a digital machine or hand tool, offering long-lasting results for enhancements like eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips.
-
What age is appropriate for the procedure? There are no strict age limits for this procedure, but some recommendations can be given. It is not advisable to get a tattoo before the age of 18, as the body is still growing and developing during this period, which may lead to a loss of the tattoo's shape.
-
Is it trendy or not?Beautiful eyebrows, perfectly shaped lips, and a defined lash line are timeless, whether enhanced with makeup or through permanent pigmentation. Today’s advanced techniques offer a natural, flawless result that looks just like light makeup, ensuring a polished look that stays relevant every day.

Permanent Makeup VS Microblading: What’s The Difference?Permanent makeup is applied using a dermograph (tattoo machine), specially designed for long-lasting results. A sterilized needle deposits bioresorbable pigments into the skin through rapid micro-punctures, ensuring precision and a natural, flawless finish, something I highly recommend for the best results! Benefits of permanent makeup: Longer-lasting results More natural and precise outcomes Fewer irregularities Less maintenance In contrast, microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow enhancement technique where pigments are manually applied using a tool similar to a beveled scalpel, which contains up to 14 fine needles. The pigment is placed in the upper layers of the skin, and results typically last between 6 to 12 months before requiring a touch-up. If you're looking for a more durable, precise, and natural result, permanent makeup is the ideal choice for a consistently fresh, flawless look every day.
